amazing location, helpful and kind hosts, exceeded expectations during our luxurious holiday in Bacalar.

Shower pressure was lacking.

the owners were friendly and helpful- providing insider tips and drawing maps of the town. the location was just off the main square, making it easy to explore the area. the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. the bathrooms were big and very clean. WiFi worked well and consistently. We enjoyed the option of air con or fan, and appreciated the good supplies in the kitchenette. Plus, the discount at the nearby restaurants was a nice perk!

There was some construction happening nearby that disturbed our mornings.

Large suite with terrace, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, and storage. Aircon keeps rooms cool. Warm welcome and helpful staff. Beautiful location on main square with singing birds. Comfy bed and clean.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is right in the heart of the town, just a stone's throw away from the main square. You can easily explore the local attractions and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Additionally, the hotel offers fabulous views of the surroundings, which is definitely a bonus.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. They were incredibly helpful and provided me with insider tips and suggestions for things to do in the area. Secondly, the hotel's location on the main square was perfect. Everything was within walking distance, making it convenient to explore the town. Lastly, the rooms were clean and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the good air conditioning and the fact that breakfast was included. this hotel offers great value for money and I highly recommend it.

The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from restaurants, banks, and the lagoon. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and they spoke fluent English. The wifi was strong, and the cleaning lady kept the hotel area smelling so good. Plus, we got a 10% discount at the great Italian restaurant behind the hotel. I highly recommend this hostel!

This hotel is fantastic value for money. It is located in the center of town, close to everything you need. Plus, it's just behind a great Italian restaurant, so you have plenty of dining options nearby. The staff here are incredibly helpful and the basic amenities provided are excellent. The rooms are spacious and come with a good-sized kitchenette, which was really useful. I especially loved the fabulous views from the rooms and the fact that the hotel had good air conditioning. The breakfast, while not included, has a great atmosphere and is definitely worth getting.

The only minor issue I found was a bit of street noise coming through the thin curtains.

the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They offered delicious free breakfast every morning, which included toast and coffee. the location was perfect for exploring the town as it was situated in the heart of everything. the hotel also provided comfortable and cozy beds that made for a great night's sleep. the quality of the shared showers and bathrooms were very impressive.

Another area for improvement is that there were not enough hooks in the room to hang towels and other items.

As a tourist, I loved staying at Hostal & Suites Pata De Perro. the room had all the amenities we needed, a comfortable bed, and a great balcony with a beautiful view of the blue lagoon. the location in central Bacalar was excellent, with everything we needed within walking distance. Veronica, one of the hosts, was amazing and had a friendly and outgoing personality. She provided us with great advice for our stay and helped us with anything we needed. the wifi worked flawlessly, and the hostel even had multiple routers for fast and consistent internet access. the highlight of our stay was the sailing tour with "Bacalar sailing" at pato de perro. It was a wonderful experience, especially the sunset tour that lasted 3-4 hours. I highly recommend this tour.

Veronica and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

The receptionist was friendly and gave us some great tips about the city. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, close to lots of restaurants and a beautiful lake. the beds were quite comfortable and the room was generally clean.

The advertised view of the lake was obstructed by a construction site, and the terrace was difficult to use because of the noise and dust from the construction. the crockery in the room was in very bad condition and needs to be replaced.

I had a great stay at this hotel in a perfect location. It is situated right in the center of town, close to everything. Being on the main square, I was able to easily explore all the attractions Bacalar has to offer. Additionally, the staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room I had was equipped with a good-sized kitchenette, which was very useful for preparing my own meals. The included breakfast provided a delightful atmosphere to start my day.

We had a great stay in this hotel located in the town square, close to amazing beach club bars for entry to the stunning lake. The facilities were clean and the staff was exceptional; they gave us a good map and explained the area upon check-in, and even helped us book an Airbnb after our stay. We also enjoyed having a kitchen and refrigerator available to prepare our own meals.

There was nothing we didn't like.
